On September 10, 2019, the General Contractor - Coteccons held the groundbreaking ceremony for Akari City township (Binh Tan District) which is co-developed by Nam Long and the two Japanese partners Hankyu Hanshin and Nishi Nippon Railroad.

Connected directly to Vo Van Kiet Boulevard - the backbone road connecting the east and west of Ho Chi Minh City, the Akari City township has a size of 8.5 hectares, a total investment of nearly VND 8,000 billion and a strategic position for living and commercial. This is the fifth project launched under the partnership of Nam Long and the two Japanese investors which have more than 100 years of experience in real estate development. Akari City will provide approximately 5,000 Flora affordable condominium. The township is designed based on the concept of “the city of light” with a variety of facilities for commercials and services responding to the needs for living, eating, entertainment and education of the residents and the neighborhood.

Phase 1 of the project consists of 6 blocks built on the 2,8-hectare area, including 1 basement, 21 floors with nearly 1,800 apartments. Coteccons will be the General Contractor of Design & Build, designing and constructing the structure, completing and installing MEP for the project.
